I guess it comes to many - after being a swimmer, jogger, tennis player and squash player I was surprised and disappointed it came to me too!

starting using glucosamine either with or without chondroitin and found it quite effective then I couldn't afforded it no more and it don't come dr prescribed so laid off it but the aches came back. then came across a cheap job lot of the stuff and so back on it and bumped up the dose to 3000mgs per day instead of 1500 as recommended - I was always a high achiever!

but it is working and I may get the odd twinge or two but mostly ache free. I also take osteopanadol but that doesn't seem to do much.

my daughter also suggested trying NZ green lipped muscle extract but one of the contraindication is gout which I have in a controlled condition and if I don't it is agony beyond belief. Apart from that I am a fine healthy bouncing boy ! thumb

I have recently had a painful groin,a sort of burning pain,
had it since Xmas, went to the doctor ,had an X-ray on the hips,
Told I had osteoarthritis , they gave me nothing to take, just said rest and paracetamol
Paracetamol does nothing.now I now have pain in the thigh and it is getting me down, also a painful arm.

It depends on where. you look on the internet.  We both use it from time to time, and both derive benefit.  Some NHS hospitals use them.  This one is the latest supplied by the company we had ours from.

andsome - I see they offer extra electrodes.  Can you only use them once - if not- how many times

Do you think it may help lower back pain
