The only band so loud it left with ringing in the ears for nearly a week

Saw them in Cardiff Students Union.

I like Slade. One that brings back a lot of memories for me is 'Darling be home soon'. In 1972 I met this lovely submariner and he took me into a record shop and had that particular song played for me. Must have done the trick as we got married a few months later. smile

 Remember that one to Hetty. Obviously 70's chick. Going into the booths with your headphones on in the records store.  Spillers for us.

I heard in on our local music station Monster radio station.  The guy who runs it is about 60 but still a bit of a hippy and a real character on the island  smile

My teen years were in the 60s but still obviously interested in 70s music too. murgs dance
