If you have a look at the members list it is obvious that we are now down to a few regulars.  Many have not posted for up to several weeks.  Maybe a message to them asking if there is a problem would not come amiss.

I have already done that .... the only reply I had was from one member saying ' Well if thats the way you feel because I'm not on every day ....... delete my account '
I didn't of course !!
So I won't be doing that again !

No accounting for people is there?  I cannot understand that reaction.  I hope that people will come back, it was just getting going nicely.  It is a treat not to have the back biting that occurs on some forums.

Do you remember a forum called 3AF [Third Age Forum] that was one of mine and you were a member there !

I honestly don't remember it or being a member there, but I have heard of it.  I cannot find it on Google, it must have closed down.

I log in twice  day most days, but, as I said elsewhere, I only post if I've got something to say.

I've no objection to moderators "priming the pump" to help things on a bit, but there;s nothing more boring than those forums where everyone and his dog feel compelled to add ever more inane comment to each and every post, and the knowledgeable, interesting, controversial and constructive posts get lost in the dross.

Don't get disheartened, Malcolm.

Good wine needs no bush, you just carry on building a better mousetrap.

I'm not disheartened Dragon, more disappointed in my fellow man/woman for making promises and not keeping them, I am sorry for the likes of andsome and sags who are trying hard to make this forum more popular, I just wish I were able to make things better for them
