I've opened an account there Mart.....looks OK but if you forget specify an album when uploading, there is no facility to move any uploaded image to an album afterwards which can be a problem.

Yes, I found that a bit of a disadvantage compared to Photobucket. Once I twigged that though, I deleted the photos that weren't in the right place and then uploaded them again to where they ought to be. I hadn't actually linked to any, so moving them by this method didn't matter. I suppose once you know about this, images from then on will be uploaded to where you want them to be.

I found another option worth a mention: In the settings, there is an option to upload images in high quality. I've ticked that one. This probably doesn't make a difference if image file sizes are reduced before uploading them to IMGUR. I think where it would make a difference is if you were to upload a photo at the file size and physical size as it comes off the camera.

That's often about 3 or 4 megabytes in file size and physically very big. Under those circumstances, IMGUR's upload process would cut down the file size. This would, in turn, cut down the photo's quality. Good if the user wants to upload quickly and use the sizing options within IMGUR. Not so good if retaining best quality is important.

With the option ticked, the photo would retain its quality. Perhaps best for if you just want to store photos in the Cloud at optimum quality (meaning a large file size) rather than display them anywhere.

I'm seeing an IMGUR message saying, 'The image you are requesting does not exist or is no longer available' in your Good morning post. Has it been moved on IMGUR since posting it? Are you still seeing the image? If so, it might just be in the browser's cache from earlier.

Hold the keyboard's CTRL button down while pressing F5 to update what the IMGUR server is currently displaying to viewers of the image.
