Splendid. Are they hardy perennials? I know bugger-all about gardening - that is management's department.

They are hardier than most Alstroemerias, down to about minus five, which does not occur so often these days.  They will stand a lower temperature in a sheltered border with a protective layer of compost during the winter.  They are so colourful that it is well worth the slight risk, they will quite rapidly form a clump.  They are available in pots now in any good nursery.

Ah the lovely Peruvian Lily – did you get the 3 feet tall ones? It is beloved by butterflies for pollination but ignored by deer – that’s rather fortunate andsome!  But do watch out for the slugs and beware of too much contact – can cause skin allergies!

Is that the flaming star andsome? You may also be tempted to buy Princess Mathilde; Intachanta Sunlight; Antartica; Fougere and Mars??

We have been waiting to buy them since we saw them last year.  They were sold out.
