PostSubject: Flu jabs.   Sun Oct 12, 2014 11:06 am

Our surgery no longer let us know about Flu jabs. It was only by chance that I saw a poster up in the surgery last week and went to reception & booked for Tony & myself to have ours next Friday.
Why have they stopped automatically notifying their patients I wonder? I'm sure a good percentage will miss out because of this.
If it's to save on postage all I can think is 'How pathetic'!!

Are you notified about yours & have you had it yet?

Our are booked for the 30-10-14.  Our surgery no longer notify us. I suppose it really is our own responsibility.

that never gets flu.

Until the first time it happens.  Better safe than sorry.

I did have the sniffles once about 8 years ago but it only
lasted a day.

had a letter offering me a shingles jab.  Can't have it though until four weeks after the flu jab.

Had ours yesterday.  I have made an appointment for early December to have a shingles jab.  You have to wait at least four weeks after the flue jab.
