Had ours yesterday.  I have made an appointment for early December to have a shingles jab.  You have to wait at least four weeks after the flue jab.

They are available at certain ages.  I qualify this year at 78, 'ER indoors doesn't at 77.

I must be lucky. I only take one a day .. an anti-histamine.
A year or so back the nurse at the surgery seemed keen to introduce me to statins so I didn't bother going back. Yeh, I know ... naughty of me. whistle Other than for that my sinuses can give me hell sometimes.. so I sometimes snort ... like a pig.

I never knew you could get a shingles jab.
My mum had that, in her 70's, and it was darn painful for her.

I have had shingles and it was awful.  It is only being offered for the time being to certain ages.  I qualify this year but 'Er Indoors doesn't. yes
